Upcycling homeware course Cornwall with Aggie Arts

Annalise Harvey, Cornish Brides Magazine’s Bridal Designer of the year, is the creative brains behind couture Bridal Label – Annalise Harvey, a Truro based design studio producing luxury bespoke gowns for Brides from Penzance to Margate.  She has been designing and making frocks since she was 5 years old when she found a bag of offcuts in the utility room at home and after receiving her first sewing machine aged ten, it all  led to a life long passion for design, theatre and haute couture.

Iain Hargreaves – Having studied the beer and wine trade at university, Iain opted for St Agnes, Cornwall and the famous Driftwood Spars pub in St Agnes to work his trade. He offers brewing and wine tasting workshops from the pub, St Agnes’ celebrated stomping ground for walkers, musicians and locals.

Holly Young – An award-winning local artist, Holly offers millinery courses in our creative space overlooking Trevaunance Cove, St Agnes. Winner of much recognition for her work, she is greatly appreciated by Aggie Arts attendees for her patience, humour and skill.

Jo Polack – Textiles artist, Jo, runs our felt making courses, which are ever popular and very wet! With skill, patience and laughs, Jo can help you learn to create a wide range of products from hats to iPod covers.

Paul Hoare – Living just off the back of Trevaunance Cove with views up to and beyond Padstow, Paul teaches our watercolour painting courses, which are provided either in Paul’s studio or at the Driftwood Spars. Either way, great results and a breathtaking view are guaranteed.

Poppy Treffry – One of Cornwall’s most successful exports (narrowly beaten by the pasty), Poppy Treffry offers freehand machine embroidery workshops in St Agnes, when we can catch her and she’s not whizzing off round the world attending numerous trade fairs and magazine interviews!

Stewart Girvan – Stewart specialises in landscapes and we have plenty of those around St Agnes. He runs our digital photography courses which cover a variety of techniques including how to make the most of your digital SLR camera.
