Run by Cornish Brides Magazine, Bridal Design of the Year, Annalise Harvey.
Do you love vintage textiles? Perhaps you have an old curtain from your childhood bedroom that you love but just can’t use? Well in these fun upcycling workshops you can use these cherished items, or indeed any fabric of your choice to create useful but funky items to brighten up your home and bring those past memories back into the present.
Building on the growing trend for vintage items in the home, in this creative workshop you will learn how to make a tea- cosy or peg bag, that can be taken home and used for ever! A selection of fabrics will be provided but if you do have your own at home then please feel free to bring them! A minimum of 40cm x 60 cm piece is required, more is better. Additional linings and materials will be provided. Allow 2-3 hours for this workshop.
Craft / peg bag:
In this new age of austerity we are all drawing on the crafts of the past to keep us amused of an evening and to brighten up our present box. Use your old textiles to make a vintage inspired craft bag in which to stylishly house your knitting, crochet or embroidery – or whatever other craft might be up your street. Allow 3-4 hours for this workshop.
Prices include tuition, materials and tea & coffee. We can also arrange lunch and dinner options to suit your budget.
Private: £45 per hour
Semi-Private (2 people): £30 per person per hour
3-4: £20 per person per hour
